In
February
1964,
1,564
sacred
Torah
scrolls
from
Czechoslovakia
arrived
at
Kent
House,
the
home
of
Westminster
Synagogue.
Throughout
the
world,
these
scrolls
have
found
new
homes
to
be
restored
to
their
proper
place
in
Jewish life.
Those
entrusted
with
these
scrolls,
a
symbol
of
hope,
the
Trust
is
charged
with
the
next
phase
to
ensure
that
those
synagogues
who
have
received
scrolls
are
aware
of
what
they
have,
that
they
investigate
the
scrolls’
original
homes
or
what
is
left
of
them,
and
pass
on
to
the
next
generation
the
precious
legacy
they have acquired.
